Is the first wallet really free?

Yes. Your first wallet (USD) is created automatically once your phone is verified and stays free for the life of your account. We never charge to hold a balance.

Why $39 USD per extra wallet?

Each foreign-currency wallet carries banking, compliance, and FX-hedging costs that we incur once at creation time. The one-off $39 USD (charged in US dollars regardless of which currency wallet you're adding) covers them so we don't need monthly fees.

Can I pay the wallet fee from my existing balance?

Yes. If you already have a USD wallet with $39 or more, we debit that. Otherwise we charge your card.

What is the FX markup?

Mid-market FX rate plus 2%. The exact rate is shown before you confirm any conversion. No hidden spread, no extra “wire fee.”

Do I pay anything if I never transact?

Nothing. No monthly fees, no dormancy fees, no per-API-call charges. You only pay when money moves.
