Is the first wallet really free?

Yes. Your first wallet (USD) is created automatically once your phone is verified and stays free for the life of your account. We never charge to hold a balance.

Why $39 USD per extra wallet?

It is a one-off charge for setting up each extra currency wallet, so there is no monthly fee to keep it. It is charged in US dollars whichever currency you add.

Can I pay the wallet fee from my existing balance?

Yes. If you already have a USD wallet with $39 or more, we debit that. Otherwise we charge your card.

How much does currency exchange cost?

You pay a small fee on the amount you convert, and our exchange rate includes a margin that differs by currency. Before you confirm, you see the exact rate, the fee and how much you will receive.

Do I pay anything if I never transact?

Nothing. No monthly fee and no charge for using the API. You only pay when money moves.
